According to the results of Turkey's National Energy Plan, electricity consumption is expected to reach 455.3 TWh in 2030 and 510.5 TWh in 2035. According to this result, even in the highest scenario, the ratio of electric vehicle electricity consumption to total electricity consumption will not exceed 1% in 2030 and 2% in 2035. The key to this development process will be to meet demand by carefully distributing electricity in specific areas. It should also be noted that the increasingly widespread use of electric agricultural vehicles is primarily in rural areas where the grid needs to be upgraded. The tables below show projections for electric vehicles and charging points.
